On September 29th 2015, Sharone Bar-David will be the keynote speaker at the annual cross-ministry event of the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade.
The Ministry provides services for successful economic and social integration of newcomers, which maximizes the benefits of immigration. It also promotes greater social inclusion, civic and community engagement and recognition among all Ontarians.
The theme of this year’s event is “Respect in the Workplace”. The theme supports the recent release of the Provincial Government’s groundbreaking Sexual Violence and Harassment Action Plan, which was largely developed by the Ontario Women’s Directorate – a branch of the Ministry.
With an engaging and informative keynote address, Bar-David will educate the Ministry’s leadership and staff about what it means to have a respectful work environment, as well as discuss the range of bad behaviour that can compromise the culture of any workplace. By providing industrial-strength strategies, she will inspire leadership and staff to feel, think and act differently with regards to workplace incivility.
Sharone Bar-David is Canada’s leading expert on workplace incivility and the president of Bar-David Consulting. For more than 24 years, she has worked with more than 30,000 people in a wide range of industries through training sessions, consulting, coaching and keynote speeches.
